Cabarrus Meals on Wheels provides a great opportunity for people to volunteer and make a difference in the life of a senior. Volunteers work with staff to ensure that homebound seniors and disabled adults receive the nutrition they need and a link to the outside world. Many times, the delivery volunteer is the only person our clients see that day. Daily contact with a Cabarrus Meals on Wheels volunteer provides the client an opportunity for friendship and social interaction and serves as a safety check on their well-being, thus allowing them to continue living independently in their own homes, which is where they want to be.
Please email our Volunteer Coordinator or give us a call at 704-932-3412 for more information on how to get started as a volunteer.
